So lately I have been obsessing over Goji berries, or Gou Qi Zi as they are known in Chinese medicine. I have been using them in my oatmeal, yogurt and tea and today I made muffins with them! I love baking and I can’t say that there are too many resources for baking in Chinese medicine literature. Most recipes I come across are for soups and congees and while they are delicious, I just love baking more than I love cooking. So I often create my own little recipes for muffins and breads that incorporate foods that are known to assist with certain functions in the body in Chinese medicine.
